Role and Responsibilities:
As a Senior Content Designer at Underdog, you will be responsible for designing, writing, editing, and testing clear and compelling in-product language. This includes product flows, interface language, education materials, product names, navigational nomenclature, terminology, taxonomies, and other content across all Underdog products and experiences. You will also apply systems thinking to the product, defining extensible design system guidance, conducting audits of existing experiences, and creating information architecture. Collaborating with peers in every discipline, including engineering, design, systems, marketing, and data, you will help take products from conception to launch. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to lead projects, provide mentorship, and develop the skills of other content designers.
Qualifications:
– 5-7 years of experience in UX writing
– Examples of finished wireframes or design mocks that have been used to drive decision-making within a team
– Experience simplifying and persuasively communicating complex ideas to broad audiences
– Familiarity with tools for managing and updating content at scale
– Experience with design systems and systems thinking
– Ability to lead projects with minimal direction and handle ambiguity
Preferred Qualifications:
– Experience in visual design and/or art direction
– Experience in fantasy sports and/or sports betting
