Position: Drupal Architect/Team Lead at Evolving Web
Location: Montreal, Canada (hybrid or remote)
As a Drupal Architect/Team Lead at Evolving Web, you will be our in-house technical expert, working closely with our team of over 100 technologists, designers, and strategists to create accessible, high-impact web design and development solutions. We are looking for someone with 5+ years of development and technical leadership experience who is passionate about creating beautiful and quality websites and apps that make a positive impact on organizations and communities.
Responsibilities:
– Collaborate with developers, designers, and project managers to create technical solutions and documentation
– Provide technical leadership and manage teams to deliver measurable results
– Enhance internal design and development processes
– Own project architecture and outcomes
– Communicate technical concepts and solutions to clients
– Mentor and train teams
– Use project management tools like Redmine or JIRA
Requirements:
– 5+ years of development and technical leadership experience
– Excellent knowledge of Drupal architecture and APIs
– Experience with large-scale enterprise projects
– Ability to scope projects, work with clients, and lead technical workshops
– Proficiency in prioritizing and managing multiple projects
– Strong communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders
– Experience in PHP and Drupal development
– Ability to mentor and train teams
– Experience with project management tools like Redmine or JIRA
– Strong communication skills in English and French (or willingness to improve proficiency)
– Available during Montreal working hours
– Experience working remotely and using tools like Slack for team communication
– Exceptional self-management and proactive communication skills
