Job Overview
At its core, Green Man Gaming is a data-driven company with a dedicated Business Intelligence team. We are a diverse team of seven individuals with a shared passion for data, insight, and analytics, constantly striving for continuous learning. We are seeking a skilled BI Developer with a background in data analytics to join us during an exciting time of growth. In this role, you will be responsible for maximizing our various data streams, maintaining and expanding our existing ETL pipelines, contributing to the development of new products, and supporting crucial decision-making processes for the business.
As a team, we collaborate with all departments, including Marketing, Trading, Engineering, and Finance. This role requires quick thinking and problem-solving skills to meet the needs of our colleagues, providing solutions that help answer critical business questions. With a strong focus on delivering results rather than following processes, you will have the autonomy to make decisions and manage your workflow.
Green Man Gaming offers a remote work environment, but we also organize monthly in-person working sessions and social events. Requirements
Key Responsibilities
– Design data models and develop, maintain, and optimize ETL pipelines in Python and SQL for our Business Intelligence platform, Looker.
– Ensure data integrity in accordance with best practices and privacy regulations.
– Create reports and visualizations that provide actionable insights for the business.
– Collaborate with other departments to implement data-driven projects.
– You Have:
Role Requirements:
– 2 to 3 years of experience in Business Intelligence or data analytics.
– Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to make independent decisions and solve complex problems.
– Excellent communication and project management skills.
– Proven experience working with relational databases and data warehouses using SQL.
– Proficiency in data science languages, such as Python.
– Experience with cloud-based data warehouse technologies, such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
– Bonus Points (not required):
– Demonstrable experience with Business Intelligence (BI) platforms like Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
– Data engineering experience in a commercial setting.
