Role Overview:
As a Kotlin Multiplatform Mobile Developer at Contra, you will be responsible for advising clients on best practices and architecture, building quality applications using KMP technology, experimenting with Multiplatform strategies, contributing to open source and internal projects, performing code reviews, and continuously improving our processes.
Requirements:
– At least 3 years of professional experience in native mobile development (Android or iOS) or equivalent skills
– Extensive knowledge of Kotlin language features and ecosystem
– Experience in writing and deploying shared code using Kotlin Multiplatform for both Android and iOS applications
– Ability to configure and debug Kotlin/Native and/or Xcode tooling and builds
– Availability to work at least 5 hours during EST working hours
– Fluent in English
Preferred Qualifications:
– Experience in a client-facing role
– Experience with KMP library development and publishing
– Significant experience in native iOS development
– Familiarity with non-mobile KMP targets such as js and native
– Published blog posts or given talks on KMP topics
– Filed issues with core Kotlin or libraries
