Job Summary:
We are seeking a talented Director of Business Intelligence who shares our vision of developing advanced business intelligence infrastructure and providing valuable insights for small business lending. As the Director, you will lead our efforts in leveraging data analytics to optimize customer conversions, manage credit performance, and drive business growth. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in enterprise analytics and reporting, with a passion for problem-solving and collaboration.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute a comprehensive business intelligence strategy aligned with company goals and objectives.
• Drive best-in-class reporting, analytics, and data support for day-to-day tasks and larger projects.
• Utilize various tools such as SQL, Python/R, and data visualization software to manipulate and analyze data.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to understand business requirements and provide analytical solutions.
• Design and maintain scalable data models, ETL processes, and data pipelines for data integrity and availability.
• Monitor key metrics and KPIs, providing regular reports and insights to senior management and stakeholders.
• Continuously improve BI tools, processes, and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Ensure compliance with data governance policies and security standards.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Mathematics, Data Science, Statistics, Economics, Finance, Computer Science, etc.).
• 10+ years of experience in fintech or financial services data management and analytics.
• Expert knowledge in data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar, including dashboard development and report design.
• Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, ETL processes, and data integration techniques.
• Experience with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, GCP, AWS, Azure) and big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) preferred.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to present findings and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
