Key Responsibilities:
– Develop intuitive and engaging ad experiences for both advertisers and Pinners, under the guidance of a design lead
– Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product management, and research, to create impactful and user-centric solutions
– Manage feedback from stakeholders and effectively communicate design decisions
– Work closely with engineers throughout the implementation and quality assurance phases
– Maintain a high level of design execution and inspire others to do the same
Qualifications:
– Proven experience developing and iterating on digital ad products in collaboration with product management and engineering
– Impressive portfolio showcasing exceptional design skills, including prototyping, product thinking, and business acumen
– Experience designing for mobile and web platforms
– Ability to balance the needs of different audiences and manage multiple workstreams
– Strong communication skills and the ability to articulate design decisions and their impact
– Attention to detail and a sense of ownership over the quality of the product
– Ability to work within and expand upon a design system; experience with design systems and product redesigns is a plus
– Team player with excellent collaboration skills and the ability to mentor junior designers
– Self-aware with a growth mindset

In-Office Requirement Statement:
At Pinterest, we value collaboration and ensure that our working style aligns with the type of work we do. While we do not always work in a traditional office setting, we do prioritize in-person collaboration and connection. This role will require in-office collaboration 1-2 times per quarter and can be based anywhere in the country.
