Position: Senior Product Analyst

Employment Type: Permanent Contract, Full- or Part-Time, Remote or On-Site in Cologne / Düsseldorf / Darmstadt

Position Overview:

As a Senior Product Analyst, you will play a crucial role in driving data insights and decision-making for our product team. This position offers the flexibility to work remotely within Germany or in one of our offices in Cologne, Darmstadt, or Düsseldorf. Our development team works in cross-functional teams and is dedicated to creating the best possible customer shopping experience on our online marketplace.

Responsibilities:

– Utilize data to drive insights and present them to internal and external stakeholders
– Collaborate with the product team to enhance the selling experience for our sellers
– Create dynamic dashboards and conduct ad-hoc data analyses
– Generate ideas for optimizing our data-driven products and work closely with the product team to implement them
– Manage the entire data process from gathering to visualization
– Benchmark our products against competitors, evaluate strategic directions, and identify business opportunities
– Monitor product performance during experimental phases and suggest robust evaluation metrics

Qualifications:

– Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, statistics, economics, finance, or equivalent practical experience
– Professional experience in quantitative analyses on large and complex data sets
– Proficiency in SQL and visualization software, preferably Tableau
– Familiarity with event tracking tools, such as Google Analytics, and their data structures is a plus
– Customer-centric mindset with the ability to understand end-user pain points and translate them into actions
– Excellent communication skills and ability to present data to different stakeholders
– Motivated by fast-paced environments and enjoy working in an international, English-speaking team
