As a Senior / Staff Backend Engineer at Kindred, you will play a crucial role in our organization by leading key technology decisions, owning the backend design, data infrastructure, and machine learning investments. You will work closely with our CTO, product managers, designers, and frontend engineers to build our platform and contribute to the growth of our engineering team. Additionally, you will have access to our network of technical advisors and mentors for support and guidance.
We are looking for someone with at least 5 years of experience in full-stack software development, a strong background in crafting scalable backends and databases, and familiarity with devops. Previous experience as a tech lead at a high-growth company is preferred. As an ideal candidate, you are an entrepreneur at heart, excited about disrupting the travel industry, and passionate about building consumer products that shape behavior. You have excellent communication and collaboration skills and thrive in a fast-paced, uncertain environment.
