Hoop is seeking a skilled and experienced Full Stack Engineer to join our team and help us achieve our mission of revolutionizing task and project management. As a remote-first and mostly asynchronous company, we prioritize a high trust and high accountability culture while remaining focused on delivering world-class software to our customers.
As a member of our engineering team, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our co-founder and Chief Product Officer, Justin Gallagher, to assess opportunities, prioritize work, and make foundational technical decisions. You will also play a critical role in building core product experiences and integrations with other tools in the knowledge worker tech stack.
We are looking for someone with at least 8 years of relevant experience in full-stack engineering, who is adept at balancing short term progress with long term suitability. You should have a versatile engineering skillset and refined product sensibilities, as well as experience with modern web application frameworks and platforms such as JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Next.js, Tailwind, SASS/LESS, Node.js, Postgres, AWS, and Vercel. You should also be a clear communicator and skilled at collaborating cross-functionally, with a passion for consistently producing high-quality work and a preference for asynchronous working practices.
