About the Position
We are seeking a Data Analyst to join our data team and help design and build business insights for both internal stakeholders and external customers.
Responsibilities:
– Conduct data analysis and provide analytical support to internal stakeholders to identify strategic business questions, key metrics, and actionable insights
– Develop actionable reports, dashboards, automations, and metrics to monitor and improve customer experience and business performance
– Perform ad hoc analysis and reporting as needed from various business departments
– Create views using SQL from existing data tables
– Proactively identify and resolve data issues, and perform detailed data verification and analysis
Requirements:
– 3+ years of hands-on experience with data analysis using SQL tables and writing SQL queries
– Strong SQL skills, with the ability to create views involving multiple tables and complex business logic; knowledge of Python is a plus
– Experience in data analysis and visualization, developing pre-defined KPIs, and effectively communicating reports to business stakeholders
– Familiarity with Looker, Tableau, or other similar tools is a plus
– Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills, able to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and handle ad hoc requests
– Strong analytical skills and a logical thinker, able to use a hypothesis-driven approach to solve various data analytic issues
– Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth, early-stage technology environment
– A quick learner, eager to acquire new skills and knowledge on a regular basis
– Self-motivated, proactive, and able to complete assignments on time
– Works well with individuals from different time zones and cultural backgrounds
– Resourceful and innovative, enjoys learning new technologies and finding solutions
– Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, Economics, or a related field is a plus
Working Conditions:
This is a full-time salaried position with work hours from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM Eastern Time, performed from a home office.
Physical Requirements:
The employee must have close visual acuity for activities such as preparing and analyzing data and figures, transcribing, viewing a computer screen, reading extensively, and inspecting small defects. This is a sedentary role with occasional exertion of up to 10 lbs of force and frequent or constant exertion of a negligible amount of force to lift, carry, push, pull, or move objects, including the human body.
