Product Designer – Experienced and Innovative

We are currently seeking an experienced Product Designer to join our Link team. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional partners to develop innovative solutions that enhance the bank linking experience for both consumers and customers. You will lead the design of new direct-to-consumer products and also improve existing experiences to ensure the highest standards of visual and interaction design excellence.

Our design team is made up of talented product designers, researchers, and content strategists who work closely with our cross-functional partners to create Plaid’s products.
Key Responsibilities:
– Creating delightful and user-friendly experiences for mobile (iOS and Android) and desktop platforms
– Collaborating closely with engineers and product managers from planning to execution
– Advocating for users and implementing user-centered processes
– Producing high-quality work, including wireframes, user flows, and pixel-perfect prototypes with engaging interactions
– Utilizing qualitative and quantitative data to gain insights into consumer behavior
– Contributing to our design culture through collaboration, presenting work, and providing feedback to the team
Requirements:
– 4+ years of experience in creating and delivering high-quality digital products
– Strong skills in wireframing, user flows, and creating pixel-perfect prototypes with engaging interactions
– Excellent verbal and visual presentation skills, with a clear and articulate point of view on design
– Proven track record of collaboration and influencing the team’s vision, planning, and deliverables
– Ability to make trade-offs and communicate decisions effectively
– A divergent exploratory process with a focus on the end-user experience
