Position Overview:

As a member of our Product organization, the Data Science team plays a critical role in developing data-driven products that redefine the hiring process by focusing on human potential and connecting talent with opportunity. From chatbots to language analysis in video interviews, the team is responsible for all AI-related tasks. As we enter a new phase of innovation with candidate matching and GenAI-based tools, we are seeking a talented Data Scientist to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

– Design and develop new algorithms and models to enhance our products
– Analyze and extract insights from client data sets related to human interactions and decisions
– Create success metrics and algorithms for innovative new products
– Conduct experiments to test and validate new product ideas
– Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

– Fluent/advanced English skills with excellent written and verbal communication abilities
– 2+ years of experience in Data Science
– Degree in a quantitative discipline (MS or PhD preferred) such as Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics, or Engineering
– Strong knowledge of standard Machine Learning algorithms, including model evaluation and hyperparameter tuning
– Experience with algorithmic fairness is a plus
– Familiarity with recommender systems preferred
– Proficiency in novel NLP techniques such as embedding models
– Proficient in scripting languages like Python, with experience using machine learning libraries such as numpy, scikit, and pandas
– Ability to collaborate with our client’s Industrial-Organizational Psychology team to conduct groundbreaking research in hiring technology
– Ability to translate business objectives into actionable analyses
– Excellent communication skills, able to present findings to both technical and non-technical audiences
