Position: Senior Product Designer at Zipline

Role Overview:
As a Senior Product Designer at Zipline, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by solving complex problems and creating high-quality solutions that retail workers will love to use. You will work closely with our product and engineering teams to drive concepts from idea to design to launch, while balancing strategic direction with tactical execution. Your designs will play a critical role in shaping the user experience for our customers, including major brands such as Gap Inc, Allbirds, Lululemon, LEGO, and many more.
Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to set long-term goals and direction, while also focusing on incremental steps to achieve those goals.
• Conduct user research to gather feedback and better understand customer needs.
• Design and develop user flows, sketches, prototypes, UI, and visual design to solve customer problems.
• Solicit feedback from colleagues and teammates to continuously improve design solutions.
• Facilitate design discussions, drive alignment on solutions, and ensure a high-quality UI and experience for our users.
• Execute quickly and efficiently, iterating and improving our product over time.
• Contribute to improving team processes and operations as part of our remote organization.
• Promote a collaborative and inclusive environment for the team.
Requirements:
• 5+ years of experience designing UX/UI solutions for desktop and mobile.
• Outstanding portfolio showcasing expertise in information architecture, UI and interaction design, visual design, and working with design systems.
• Experience conducting user interviews and concept testing with customers.
• Ability to partner with product and engineering teams to develop rationale, options, and execution plans for features.
Additional Qualifications:
• Retail experience is a plus, but not required.
• Proficiency in tools such as Figma, Slack, and Google Docs.
• Ability to empathize and collaborate with customers and colleagues.
• Self-motivated, curious, and dependable.

Note on Flexible Time Off Policy:
At Zipline, we do not have a set number of days off. Instead, individuals can request time off as needed under a flexible time off policy. Each request is reviewed by the manager and decisions are made based on business considerations. On average, Zipliners use 15-25 days off per year.
