Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated Product Designer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be a key contributor to the product design team, using your creativity and problem-solving skills to enhance user experience and drive innovation. Your responsibilities will include:
– Developing a deep understanding of Assent’s suite of products and experiences
– Conducting research and evaluations to inform design decisions
– Mentoring and motivating the product design team
– Simplifying complexity and defining design vision
– Collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders and advocating for end-users
– Leading and managing design projects
– Continuously researching and sharing design best practices
– Contributing to the design direction of the company
Qualifications:
– Minimum of 8 years of experience designing applications and experiences across multiple platforms
– Strong problem-solving skills and ability to comprehend complex systems
– Proficiency in creating high-fidelity, interactive prototypes for complex designs
– Proven ability to handle unexpected design challenges
– Excellent communication skills and ability to manage difficult conversations
– Leadership experience and ability to foster a supportive team culture
– Strong understanding of user research methods and experience conducting and analyzing research
– Experience in a fast-paced, high-growth tech environment
Interview Process:
Our interview process is focused and deliberate, respecting your time while also allowing us to get to know you better. It will consist of:
– An introductory call with Assent’s Talent Acquisition team
– An interview with the product design team manager to discuss your professional journey and qualifications
– A group interview with the design team, product management, and engineering teams, where you will present a portfolio case study or a topic of your choice
– Additional interviews may be required depending on the candidate’s qualifications and fit for the role
