Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Senior Product Designer to join our growing team. As a Senior Product Designer at Freed, you will play a crucial role in delivering clear value to our clinicians through intuitive and high-quality designs and workflows. You will work closely with designers, engineers, product managers, and leadership to push the boundaries of what is possible with AI technology and bring joy back to practicing medicine.
Responsibilities:
– Gain a deep understanding of our clinical users, their needs, motivations, and pain points
– Design user flows and experiences that simplify complex actions into intuitive interfaces
– Contribute to the product and design strategy at Freed
– Foster strong partnerships with cross-functional teams and departments
– Conduct user interviews regularly and utilize findings to guide design efforts and share knowledge with the team
– Give and receive feedback from product partners and stakeholders
– Effectively communicate design goals and concepts to the broader product team and leadership
Requirements:
– 6+ years of experience designing and shipping multiple features across various platforms
– Strong interaction design experience with the ability to understand user needs and behaviors
– Proficiency in visual design, including typography, desktop/mobile UI, color, layout, and iconography
– Passion for healthcare and helping others (healthcare experience is a plus)
– Experience working in a startup environment is preferred
