Position: Drupal/PHP Developer

We actively sponsor visa applications and assist with relocation to Montreal for qualified candidates, including those planning to immigrate to Canada.
As a Drupal/PHP Developer at Evolving Web, you will work with a team of developers, designers, and project managers on various projects. Your responsibilities will include developing custom Drupal modules and themes, debugging Drupal contrib modules, creating documentation and blog posts, and learning new web development platforms and frameworks.
To be successful in this role, you should have at least 2 years of experience with Drupal and 5+ years of development experience. You should also have a strong attention to detail, experience working with a team and using standardized development workflows, familiarity with the Linux command line, and an understanding of software development practices. Experience with Git, SASS, JavaScript, jQuery, and project management tools like Redmine or JIRA is also required. Additionally, strong communication skills in both English and French are preferred.
Experience with front-end development, system administration and security, contributions to open-source projects, and working with hosting platforms like Pantheon and Acquia are considered a bonus. We also value candidates who are collaborative, open to feedback, organized, proactive problem-solvers, and willing to learn new tools and take on new responsibilities.
This position follows a hybrid work schedule for candidates based in Montreal and its suburbs, with three days in the office and two days working remotely each week. For those residing outside of Montreal and its surrounding areas, it is fully remote.
