Job Description:
Ro is seeking a Senior User Experience Researcher (UXR) to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving insights that directly shape the design and experience of our products, placing patient needs at the core of everything we build. As an integral part of the design cycle, you will collaborate closely with our designers to ensure that user research guides our solutions from concept to execution. You will also have the opportunity to influence our entire product strategy by translating patient pain points into actionable insights that improve both user experience and business outcomes. This is a pivotal role that will lead the way in embedding user experience research into our design process and driving meaningful impact across the product life cycle.

Key Responsibilities:
– Develop a deep understanding of our patients, identifying their needs, pain points, and opportunities to shape our product offerings
– Partner closely with designers to provide actionable insights and inform the development of new products and features
– Be the voice of our patients in design discussions, ensuring their needs and perspectives are represented in product strategies and design decisions
– Establish and scale impactful research within our design organization, setting best practices and embedding research into the design process
– Deliver research that not only uncovers insights but also drives action
– Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure that insights from patients are adopted and decisions are aligned with both patient and business needs

Qualifications:
– 7+ years of experience in UX research, with at least 5+ years in digital product environments, preferably in Digital Health or DTC
– Proven expertise in qualitative research methods, including moderating interviews and focus groups, with additional comfort in quantitative research and survey analysis
– Experience collaborating with product managers and designers to integrate research insights into product development, iterating on designs and prototypes
– Strong storytelling and communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate research findings and recommendations to diverse stakeholders
– Ability to manage multiple research projects simultaneously, with a focus on prioritization and strategic alignment with business goals
– Experience working autonomously and as part of cross-functional teams
– Self-starter mentality with strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to adapt in a fast-moving, dynamic environment
– Experience with Figma or similar design tools to ensure seamless collaboration with design teams

Preferred Qualifications:
– Experience in consumer product research, applied research, or product development
– A degree in a human behavior-related field (e.g., Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Sociology, Communication, Information Science), though experience may be substituted for education
– Expertise with core research methodologies and experience creating strategic narratives from research findings
