Position: Designer at Trunk

Role Overview: As a Designer at Trunk, you will lead creative initiatives from start to finish, ensuring cohesive design solutions with limited resources. You will own all customer-facing marketing assets, including trunk.io, promotional materials, newsletter design, and social media assets. You will also play a crucial role in evolving Trunk’s web and brand identity, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and stay up-to-date with industry trends.

Responsibilities:
– Lead creative initiatives from ideation to final execution, ensuring cohesive design solutions even with limited resources.
– Own all customer-facing marketing assets, including trunk.io, promotional materials, newsletter design, and assets for our newsletter, social media, blog, and docs.
– Drive the evolution of Trunk’s web and brand identity, aligning with the company’s digital and brand presence.
– Contribute to design systems and style guides that align with brand values and can scale with future growth.
– Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure designs support broader business objectives.
– Communicate design ideas clearly and effectively through strong written, verbal, and visual presentations.
– Stay up-to-date with industry trends and incorporate best practices in digital design, branding, and user experience.

Qualifications:
– Ability to partner with leadership and go-to-market (GTM) teams to align brand initiatives with business and marketing goals.
– Strong understanding of technical concepts and the ability to translate them into effective visual metaphors.
– A champion for exceptional design standards, ensuring high quality and consistency across all branding, marketing, and web assets.
– Demonstrated experience in leading brand campaigns that resonate with target audiences and differentiate Trunk in the marketplace.
– A self-starter who can work autonomously, manage multiple projects, and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
– A strong advocate for a user-centric approach to design, ensuring all brand touchpoints provide an exceptional user experience.
– High proficiency in Figma (and bonus points for motion design software).

Salary and Equity Range: $120K – $150K and .05% – .1%
