Position: Mobile Product Designer
Company Overview: We are a cutting-edge design team seeking a highly skilled interface designer to join our team. Our company focuses on professional services, including financial, audit, and accounting applications.
Responsibilities:
As a Mobile Product Designer, you will work closely with the Design BA to complete various design tasks such as information architecture analysis, prototyping, and creation of visual solutions. You will also oversee the implementation of projects in the following industries (but not limited to): professional services.
Requirements:
Hard Skills:
-Advanced knowledge of Figma, including components, features (autolayouts, constraints, etc.), libraries, and design systems
-Experience with board collaboration/mind mapping tools, specifically FigJam
-In-depth understanding of mobile patterns, HCD, Material principles, and technical constraints
-Strong familiarity with HCD, UCD, and other design methodologies
-Experience with usability testing and analytics tools
-Knowledge of WCAG guidelines
-Ability to conduct research and discovery to define project concepts and UX architecture
Soft Skills:
-Ability to align with and uphold the team’s values and principles
-Independently complete tasks, make informed decisions, and take responsibility for them
-Provide well-reasoned design solutions
-Utilize nonviolent communication principles to give and receive productive feedback
-Passionate about learning and trying new ideas
-Adaptable to a fast-paced environment
-Proactive, positive, and take ownership of tasks
-Effective communication with clients and colleagues from diverse backgrounds
-Portfolio with strong visual design examples (prior to NDA, if applicable)
Languages: Must have at least an Upper-Intermediate (B2) level of English as all of our clients and team members speak English.
Responsibilities:
-Complete design tasks assigned by the Design BA
-Follow team design standards
-Conduct self-checks to ensure high-quality mockups
-Provide full interface delivery according to defined requirements
-Communicate with the development team on mockup progress and updates, alongside the Design BA
-Conduct UX research and UI concepting
-Initiate new processes, standards, and team activities
-Identify areas for product design improvement and offer alternative solutions
-Estimate design tasks and provide updates to the Design BA
-Participate in client meetings and confidently present design decisions to stakeholders.
