About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated French Packaging Designer to join our established team on a one-year contract. In this role, you will be responsible for creating high-quality packaging materials for our home video business, ensuring they meet market demand and are released in a timely manner. You will collaborate closely with other creative team members, including design, copy, and project management, as well as external partners. Your success will be measured by your ability to produce top-notch designs, meet project deadlines, and contribute to the growth of our revenue.
Responsibilities:
– Assess licensor art and conduct market and consumer research
– Watch content to gain a deep understanding of visuals and narrative
– Brainstorm and develop packaging designs
– Coordinate with production team to complete projects
– Ensure packaging designs accurately represent the anime and resonate with fans
– Collaborate with team members to select suitable and cost-effective materials and finishes
– Handle creative revisions from multiple partners
As the Packaging Designer, you will report to the Senior Director of Creative, Global Collectibles.
Requirements:
– 3+ years of experience in packaging design
– Professional proficiency in French, with advanced conversational, reading, and writing skills
– Experience in market and consumer research
– Familiarity with packaging files, materials, and prepress processes
– Ability to take projects from concept to execution
– Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite
