Position Overview:
GoodParty.org is seeking a talented and passionate Marketing Designer to join our remote team. In this role, you will use your design skills to create digital marketing, social media, website, print, and merch assets that align with our mission and attract people to join our movement. This is a full-time, salaried position, with the possibility for part-time contract work.
Key Responsibilities:
– Design high-quality landing pages, ads, digital marketing assets, and social media designs that drive engagement and align with our brand (we are in the process of rebranding, which will be shared during the interview process).
– Create multiple variations of marketing designs for A/B testing to attract candidates to our product.
– Redesign our website in collaboration with our Design Manager, ensuring coherent design choices across our product for candidates and external branding.
– Design marketing landing pages in HubSpot’s CMS and Unbounce.
– Build editable templates in Figma and Canva for use by the team, enabling rapid iterations and easy customization.
– Create animated assets and motion designs, as well as engaging infographics, to simplify complex ideas into compelling visual stories.
– Design print collateral, experiential marketing materials, and merch such as t-shirts and hats.
– Report to GoodParty.org’s Design Manager and collaborate closely with our Marketing Director.
Qualifications:
– 5+ years of experience in innovative design, with increasing responsibility and impact, ideally within smaller organizations for consumer companies or brands.
– Proven experience in graphic design, with a strong portfolio showcasing expertise in creating marketing assets, website assets, and collateral.
– Proficiency in Figma, Adobe, and Canva.
– Strong attention to detail and the ability to catch mistakes.
– Excellent communication skills, both visually and verbally.
– Interest and experience utilizing cutting-edge generative AI tools for design.
– High empathy and understanding of the importance of simple design in changing hearts and minds.
– Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
– Experience in motion design and video editing is a plus.
– Interest in politics, political activism, or democracy reform is a plus.
