Job Description:
We are seeking a talented UX Designer to join our team at Demiurge Studios. The ideal candidate will be highly skilled in the UX design process, including wireframing, prototyping, and user research, and must possess a deep understanding of various games and game types on mobile and console platforms. As a UX Designer, you will be responsible for creating intuitive interfaces for our games, collaborating with other team members, and continuously improving our internal processes.
Responsibilities:
– Plan and organize tasks for game projects
– Create wireframes and prototypes for core layouts and concepts
– Work closely with design and engineering teams to establish UI development pipelines and feature requirements
– Provide constructive feedback on your own and others’ work to maintain a high level of quality
– Continuously learn and improve skills to stay updated with industry tools and trends
Qualifications:
– 4+ years of experience in Game UX design
– Proven track record of owning a feature from wireframe to development to polish
– Excellent written and verbal communication skills
– Strong knowledge of interface art requirements and processes
– Proficient in industry tools such as Illustrator, XD, Figma, Photoshop, and Sketch
– A keen eye for graphic design, font, and color
– Must have a portfolio or demo reel showcasing a range of skills and styles
– Must be eligible to work in the United States
Nice to Have:
– Traditional illustration or fine arts training
– Experience in mobile, console, and PC interface development
– Client relations experience
– Passion for gaming
– Outside interests and hobbies
