Senior Analyst II – Insight Enablement & Scale at Included Health
Included Health is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Analyst II to join our Insights for Business Excellence (IBEX) team. As a Senior Analyst II, you will play a crucial role in quantifying and communicating Included Health’s value to our clients. Reporting directly to the Manager, Insight Enablement & Scale, you will work closely with other analysts and actuaries on the IBEX team, as well as with teams focused on scaling and growth.
As part of the Insight Enablement & Scale sub-team, your main responsibility will be to increase the speed and impact of our team by scaling IBEX work to other teams and partners. You will collaborate with teams such as Data and Growth to deliver dashboards, reporting packages, and ad-hoc analysis to support client retention and growth, as well as the optimization of our business strategy.
Some examples of your potential responsibilities include:
– Identifying the most effective reports and analytics to scale and strategizing with the team’s manager and other team members to implement efficient scaling methods
– Developing scalable reporting packages for strategic business reviews and monthly actionable insights reporting for clients
– Scaling insight generation and enabling other teams to self-serve key data through report automation and dashboarding projects
– Scaling insightful analyses for the market, such as supporting RFPs and proposals with refreshed metrics, to drive growth for Included Health
– Partnering with teams within IBEX and across the company to ensure new product features and data are incorporated into data pipelines and reporting workflows
To complete and share your work, you will predominantly use SQL, Python, Looker, and Google Workspace tools. For communication, collaboration, and project management, we primarily use Jira, Confluence, Github, and Slack.
Key Responsibilities:
– Develop robust, efficient, and integrated data models to serve as primary data sources for client reporting and analysis
– Utilize governed data sources to create well-designed content in Looker that enables self-service consumption
– Work with other data and analytics teams to establish source of truth datasets
– Support development of analytics infrastructure using Python scripts and SQL queries to automate client reporting deliverables at scale
– Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve key data blockers that may hinder the delivery of analytics requests
– Serve as a collaborative partner to the Product Marketing team, Client Success team, and Business Acceleration Organization to meet client reporting needs at scale and demonstrate the value of our services
Qualifications:
– Expert proficiency in SQL
– Deep experience with Python for data analysis, automation at scale, and API interaction
– Ability to peer review complex code with high attention to detail and a critical eye
– Experience using data visualization/BI tools to build and maintain interactive dashboards for internal and external stakeholders
– Experience developing and scaling insightful analysis using healthcare data
– Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional projects
– Strong attention to detail and eagerness to learn new analytical approaches
– Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate with peers, clients, and key stakeholders
– Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work through complex issues
– Comfortable with ambiguity and defining an approach to a given question or problem using sound first principles logic
– Experience working with various types of raw data, including medical/Rx claims data, eligibility data, product data, and survey data
– Experience creating thoughtful analyses using complex data and presenting the results to clients and other key stakeholders
– Ability and comfort in providing technical mentorship to team members
– Experience with code versioning tools such as Git
– A minimum of 7+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s degree; advanced degrees are a plus

The United States new hire base salary target ranges for this full-time position are:
Zone A: $103,710 – $134,820 + equity + benefits
Zone B: $119,267 – $155,043 + equity + benefits
Zone C: $129,638 – $168,525+ equity + benefits
Zone D: $134,823 – $175,266 + equity + benefits
This range reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for candidates based on their respective Zone. Below is additional information on Included Health’s commitment to maintaining transparent and equitable compensation practices across our distinct geographic zones.
Starting base salary for the successful candidate will depend on several job-related factors, unique to each candidate, which may include, but not limited to, education, training, skill set, years and depth of experience, certifications and licensure, business needs, internal peer equity, organizational considerations, and alignment with geographic and market data. Compensation structures and ranges are tailored to each zone’s unique market conditions to ensure that all employees receive fair and competitive compensation based on their roles and locations.
