We are looking for a Senior Platform Engineer to join our team and help us achieve our mission.
Role Description:
As a Senior Platform Engineer, you will design, build, and maintain core infrastructure to support various software applications and services. You will collaborate with diverse teams, including software developers, data engineers, IT operations, and network engineers, to ensure platform stability, scalability, and performance. Your responsibilities will include constructing and deploying servers, databases, and networks using advanced technologies and industry standards. You will also monitor and troubleshoot issues and contribute to capacity planning, security assessments, and disaster recovery to ensure reliability. Continuous learning and staying updated on industry trends are crucial for this role. Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills are essential for success in this position.
Key Responsibilities:
– Collaborate with Data Engineers to evaluate and select appropriate technologies and tools for the project
– Set up and configure development, production, and other required environments
– Define and implement security measures according to best practices
– Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
– Document operational aspects of platforms
– Conduct training and knowledge-sharing
– Manage Azure infrastructure for AI workloads, including VMs, GPU instances, Virtual Networks, Azure AI Search, OpenAI, and Azure ML
– Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for deploying AI models and services using Azure DevOps
– Proficiency in scripting for automation, including PowerShell and Python
– Utilize containerization and orchestration for AI applications using Docker, Kubernetes, and AKS with GPU support
– Implement Infrastructure as Code using Bicep and Terraform
– Monitor and log AI model performance using Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and Log Analytics
– Previous experience with AI, such as RAG application development, is a plus
