Position: Survey Research Associate

We are currently seeking an intelligent and motivated Survey Research Associate to join our Military Health and Wellbeing Research team.
Key Responsibilities:
– Conduct literature reviews and synthesize information from multiple disciplines
– Assist with all phases of social science analytics, including survey design, data analysis, and interpretation
– Develop and adapt survey questions to meet research objectives
– Utilize best practices in survey design, sampling, and data collection
– Test surveys for clarity and respondent engagement
– Solve analytical problems and learn new techniques quickly
– Complete analysis and write syntax in R
– Manage project tasks and coordinate with internal resources to ensure quality and timely completion
– Collaborate with data and social scientists to analyze large, complex quantitative data sets
– Communicate analysis results to clients in a clear and understandable manner
– Prepare research reports and proposals for both technical and non-technical audiences
Qualifications:
– Graduate degree in social science or related field (PhD with 1-2 years of industry experience or Master’s degree with 3+ years of applicable industry experience)
– Excellent verbal and written communication skills
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team
– Experience with survey development and analysis
– Familiarity with diverse data sources, including survey, personnel, and administrative data
– Proficiency in R and experience with large data sets and survey weights
– Knowledge of quantitative research methodologies, such as regression and multilevel modeling
– Must be a US citizen and consent to a full background check

Salary: $83,000-$89,000
