Cribl is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Software Developer in Test to join our fast-growing remote-first company. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work collaboratively, curiously, and passionately to put our customers first.
In this role, you will be responsible for integrating, improving, and building upon our continuous testing systems, testing automation, and reporting quality metrics. You will work closely with development teams to ensure proper test planning and execution is incorporated early on in our release cycles. Additionally, you will be an expert at identifying performance bottlenecks, spotting anomalous system behavior, and determining the root cause of issues. Effective communication with cross-functional team members and management is key in this role.
Qualifications:
– 3-5 years of experience as a Software Engineer or SDET
– Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
– Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS
– Proficiency in coding across various languages, with a preference for JavaScript/TypeScript
– Experience designing and developing test frameworks/suites and test automation
– Familiarity with the Playwright framework is preferred
– Experience collaborating with other teams such as Support, Sustaining, and Customer escalations
– Understanding and/or experience working with data-intensive applications and/or data streams processing
– Detail-oriented with a dedication to elegant and high-quality software
– Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain complex technical topics to internal and external stakeholders in remote/distributed environments
Salary Range: $130,000 – $160,000 (dependent on geographic location)
