Role Overview:

We are seeking a Clinical Operations Analytics Associate to join our dedicated Clinical Analytics team. In this role, you will collaborate with various departments and proactively manage inefficiencies within the business. You will support business units in analyzing and monitoring key financial and utilization metrics to achieve company goals. You will also be responsible for scoping and executing analytical requests, including defining key questions, methodologies, and results.

Reporting to the Analytics Manager, Clinical Analytics, this position is available at our New York City office (in Hudson Square), our Tempe office (off the 101 at University Dr), or our Los Angeles office (in Marina Del Rey). We embrace a blended work culture where everyone, regardless of location or work type, feels connected to our team, culture, and mission. However, we expect this role to be in-office at least two days a week for those who live within commutable distance to one of our offices. Otherwise, this is a remote/work-from-home role.

Pay Transparency:

The base pay for this role in the states of California, Connecticut, New Jersey, New York, and Washington is: $98,400 – $129,150 per year. The base pay for this role in all other locations is: $88,560 – $116,235 per year. As an employee, you will also be eligible for our benefits package, unlimited vacation program, and annual performance bonuses.

Key Responsibilities:

– Act as a point of contact for Senior Managers and Associate Directors in a major business unit, taking ownership of insights generation and follow-up
– Utilize data analysis to support business teams in making informed, data-driven decisions
– Present findings in a clear, concise, and compelling manner to non-technical colleagues
– Identify opportunities to enhance operational and analytical dashboards to meet evolving user needs
– Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement actions to improve efficiency and monitor initiative impact
– Support other strategic projects as needed
– Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
– Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

– Minimum of 3 years of technical work experience using analytical tools and writing reports
– Demonstrated ability to work with large datasets and present analyses in a structured and systematic manner
– Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with experience presenting analysis to leadership
– Proficiency in SQL and experience with Google Sheets or Excel, including VLookup, nested if statements, and connected Sheets
– Bonus points for 2+ years of experience in healthcare or insurance industry, managing value-based contracts, using Python or R, developing dashboards with Looker or other business intelligence tools, or exposure to healthcare contract negotiations, risk adjustment, ACA marketplace, quality of care, and/or population health

Final offer amounts, within the base pay listed above, will be determined by factors such as relevant skills, education, and experience.
