Canny is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our growing team. As a pivotal member of our company, you will be instrumental in shaping the future of our customer feedback platform and providing users with an unparalleled experience.
About Us:
At Canny, we have a fully remote team of 17 individuals spanning across 6 countries, including the US, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, Spain, and Turkey. We are a bootstrapped company with no investors and have achieved profitability.
Responsibilities:
– Collaborate with product and design teams to develop and implement new features
– Optimize and refine existing features to improve UX and reduce friction
– Troubleshoot and resolve bugs to enhance customer experiences
– Participate in code reviews to promote a culture of quality and collaborative learning
– Stay updated on industry best practices and technologies to maintain our competitive edge
– Contribute to technical documentation for future reference

Compensation & Benefits:

Qualifications:
– 5 years of professional software engineering experience with a focus on frontend development
– Production experience with TypeScript, React, Node.js, MongoDB, and AWS
– Ability to lead architectural decision making and mentor others
– Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
– Self-motivated with excellent organizational skills
– Experience working autonomously and in a remote team setting
– Proven track record of long-term integration with previous organizations (worked at one company for at least 2 years within the last 5 years)
Bonus Qualifications:
– Experience with enterprise and/or SaaS software development
– Deep expertise in frontend web applications
