Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Political Analytics Lead or Manager (title commensurate with experience) to join our remote team and lead our data analytics operations. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in political campaign data science and analytics and a deep understanding of building data stacks, modeling, and data-driven problem solving.
Responsibilities:
– Develop and implement models and provide insights to support independent candidates across the country in running, winning, and serving in elected positions
– Collaborate with the Executive and Product teams to bridge the gap between our political campaign operation and product user experience
– Lead political voter data operations, analysis, and insights, including voter segmentation and targeting, turnout prediction and viability modeling, GOTV and mobilization analytics, data quality and integrity management, A/B testing and experimentation, geospatial analysis for field strategy, and sentiment analysis on social and news media
– Work on cross-functional analytical projects for finance, product, marketing, and politics, and build strategic and financial models to inform decisions
– Report directly to the Chief Executive Officer
Qualifications:
– Minimum of 3 years of work experience in political campaign data science and analytics
– Strong quantitative skills and experience with SQL, Business Intelligence Tools (Looker, Tableau, etc.), Python, and AI tools
– Ability to create complex strategic and financial models and deliver polished, persuasive presentations
– Excellent project management skills with a keen attention to detail
– Passion for fixing our democracy and belief in the power of independent candidates
