Position: Senior UI Motion Designer

Some of our recent projects include apps for a manicure machine, brainwave-monitoring headphones, a smart ring for women’s health, and a leading audio equipment brand. Our interdisciplinary project teams, consisting of project managers, designers, developers, and QAs, work on projects ranging from 3 to 9 months, with a focus on MVPs and app redesigns.
Job Description:
We are currently seeking a talented and experienced Senior UI Motion Designer to join our team and support us in UI and Motion Design. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mobile technology, expertise in designing micro-interactions and animations, and mastery of Figma and Design Systems creation. Strong presentation skills and the ability to confidently explain design decisions to clients are also essential, with a minimum English proficiency of B2/C1. Additionally, the ideal candidate will have experience in creating apps for the health, well-being, or audio industry, as well as experience in remote work in an agency environment or as a freelancer. Responsibilities:
As a key member of our project team, you will take ownership of the aesthetic and visual aspects of our applications. This includes developing visual guidelines based on the client’s branding or from scratch during art-direction workshops, ensuring Figma serves as a clear and comprehensive design documentation for both the team and the client, and collaborating with developers to ensure your designs are technically feasible and align with your vision. You will also work closely with UX designers to review wireframes, challenge ideas, and provide your perspective, as well as lead client presentations to showcase your designs and ensure the client embraces your vision. Other responsibilities include supporting the sales team and Team Leader in creating design effort estimates, contributing to the development of internal best practices and processes to improve project workflows, and actively participating in the design team’s activities and discussions.

You will be working day-to-day with an interdisciplinary project team, but you will also have the opportunity to collaborate with our other talented designers. Our design team consists of individuals with diverse backgrounds and expertise, including:
– Somar, Senior UX Designer: An analytical and strategic mind with extensive expertise in neuroscience and well-being.
– Ania, UX Design Expert: A researcher, strategist, service designer, educator, and workshop facilitation master.
– Piotrek, UX Design Expert: An accessibility advocate with a specialization in UX audits and a passion for IoT.
– Filip, UI Designer: A master of Figma and Design Systems, transforming UX wireframes into visually appealing, high-fidelity mockups.
– Miłka, Design Team Leader, UX Designer, and Researcher: Focused on the team’s development, workload management, and balancing expectations between the team and the company.
Qualifications:
To apply for this position, you will need to submit your resume, a short UI portfolio showcasing your mobile projects, and a Figma file with a sample of your exemplary project. Additionally, you must have a passion for mobile technology, in-depth knowledge of iOS and Android platform guidelines, expertise in designing micro-interactions and animations, and mastery of Figma and Design Systems creation.
