What You’ll Do:
As the Creative Director/Art Director, you will be responsible for creating a design system framework and implementing it for digital marketing, social media, website, print, and merch assets. Your designs will be crucial in attracting people to join our mission and supporting our growing grassroots movement.
Responsibilities include:
– Building a capable and scalable design framework
– Designing high-quality landing pages, ads, digital marketing assets, and social media designs
– Creating multiple variations of marketing designs for A/B testing
– Redesigning our website
– Designing in HubSpot’s CMS and Unbounce
– Building editable templates in Figma and Canva
– Creating animated assets and motion designs
– Designing print collateral, experiential marketing materials, and merch
– Reporting to the Design Manager
Who We’re Looking For:
The ideal candidate for this position is a proven A-player with a track record of innovative design and increasing responsibility, ideally within smaller organizations for consumer companies or brands. They should have a strong portfolio showcasing expertise in creating marketing assets, website assets, and collateral.
Other qualifications include:
– 5+ years of experience in graphic design
– A strong attention to detail
– Experience with Figma, Adobe, and Canva
– Excellent communication skills
– Creative ideas and experience utilizing cutting edge generative AI tools for design
– A high level of empathy and understanding of what drives people to become engaged in politics
– The ability to work independently and collaboratively
– Experience working in-house at a Saas or technology company
Bonus qualifications include:
– Experience in politics, political activism, or democracy reform
– Experience working in a small, fast-paced remote team
– A desire to make a difference in our democracy
– Experience with motion design
– Experience in video editing and creating experiential marketing assets or event booths
