Untether AI is a rapidly growing Toronto-based startup that is revolutionizing the world of AI inference with our pure-digital AI chip. We are currently seeking a Neural Network Optimization Engineer to join our team of top-notch engineers. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing neural networks for our high-performance AI accelerator chips. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a team that is shaping the future of AI technology.
Key Responsibilities:
– Develop and optimize cutting-edge neural networks for our customers
– Collaborate with cross-functional teams of engineers to ensure seamless integration of our software and hardware
– Identify, diagnose, and resolve challenges in using our products for specific use cases
– Engage with customers to provide ongoing support and gather feedback for product improvement
– Manage program/project teams to deliver neural network models
– Communicate performance optimization ideas to both compiler/kernel engineers and architects for future product generations
Preferred Skills and Experience:
– Passionate and knowledgeable about AI technology
– Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
– Minimum of 5 years of software development experience, specifically in AI
– Strong understanding of neural network algorithms such as Convolutions, Transformers, and RNNs
– Experience with end-to-end software development, data structures, and algorithms
– Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
– Strong problem-solving skills, both technical and interpersonal
– Experience with code and neural network optimization for high performance
