Position: Data Reporting Analyst Internship or Part-Time Remote Role

Responsibilities:
As a Data Reporting Analyst, you will be responsible for data analysis, research support, and collaboration with the wider team.
Data Cleaning and Management:
• Ensure data quality and accuracy by cleaning and managing rich datasets.
• Perform data entry, verification, and validation tasks to maintain dataset integrity.
• Organize data in Google Sheets for easy access and analysis.
Data Visualization and Analysis:
• Use Google Looker Studio (or similar tools) to create visualizations that effectively communicate data insights.
• Conduct in-depth analysis using statistical software to discover trends and patterns.
• Transform raw data into actionable insights, highlighting key findings relevant to our clients.
Report Creation:
• Develop comprehensive reports that tell a compelling story with data.
• Write straightforward, strategic, and actionable narratives tailored to our clients’ needs.
• Create visual and written summaries that present data in an engaging manner.
• Produce educational outcome metric reports in Google Slides using analysis from Google Sheets.
Collaboration:
• Work closely with the Client Services, Publication, and Medical Education teams to align data analysis with research objectives.
• Ensure that insights derived from data enhance the value of our services and contribute to informed decision-making.
• Communicate findings and collaborate with team members to integrate data insights into broader research projects.
Required Skills and Experience:
• Experience in data analysis, preferably within the market research field.
• Proficiency with Excel/Google Sheets.
• Proficiency with data visualization tools (Google Looker Studio or similar).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft clear, concise, and actionable reports.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, particularly in data management and analysis.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with team members and contribute to research development.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to handle complex research projects from start to finish.
• Familiarity with survey design and execution.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
• Previous experience in the eyecare or medical education industry.
• Familiarity with CRM systems and data management tools.
• Experience with advanced statistical analysis techniques.
• Knowledge of market research methodologies and best practices.
• Project management skills and experience coordinating multiple stakeholders.
Additional Notes:
• The working hours are flexible within the 9am – 5pm PT time frame. You can start earlier or later, as long as you work a consistent 4-hour block for 5 days per week, Monday through Friday.
• This position offers the flexibility of an internship or a part-time role, with the opportunity to work up to 29 hours per week.
• We are looking for someone who can commit to the role for at least one year, with potential for growth and continued learning.
