Job Description:

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Lead Marketing Analyst to join our team as a 6-month contractor. At Blend360, our Data Scientists work closely with business leaders to tackle our clients’ most pressing challenges. We work with clients in various industries, including marketing, revenue management, customer service, and inventory management. Our Data Scientists possess a strong business acumen and are able to apply Data Science techniques to a wide range of business models and situations.

The ideal candidate for this role is an excellent communicator with the ability to clearly and concisely explain complex concepts. They should also be able to work independently, gather requirements, develop roadmaps, and deliver results. Other key responsibilities include customizing business processes to meet client needs, promptly addressing client concerns, and effectively managing requests.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

– Understand client needs and modify existing business processes to meet those needs.

– Address client concerns in a timely and professional manner.

– Define and document campaign requirements and execution plans.

– Manage audience data by consolidating prospect and owner data.

– Analyze and report on campaign performance, providing valuable insights.

– Implement predictive models.

– Ingest FICO scores.

– Gather and organize large and complex data sets from both internal and external sources to meet business needs.

– Develop analytics tools to provide actionable insights on customer acquisition, operational efficiency, and other key business metrics.

– Conduct statistical data analysis, including exploratory data analysis, data mining, and document key findings to inform decision-making.

– Document predictive models and machine learning results for client-deliverable documentation.

– Assist clients in deploying models and algorithms within their own architecture.

Qualifications:

– MS degree in Statistics, Math, Data Analytics, or a related quantitative field.

– 3+ years of professional experience in Data Science, including predictive modeling, statistical analysis, machine learning, text mining, geospatial analytics, time series forecasting, and optimization.

– Experience leading a team.

– Experience analyzing campaign performance.

– Proficiency in one or more advanced Data Science software languages, such as R, Python, Scala, or SAS.

– Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational databases.

– Familiarity with databases such as Hadoop/Hive.

– Experience with Spark and data frames in PySpark or Scala.

– Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to use complex data to answer business questions.

– Comfortable working with cloud-based platforms, such as AWS, Azure, or Google.

– Experience with Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, or Optimizely is a plus.
