Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Senior Ads Engineer to join our global private ad network, Brave Ads. This position is responsible for building and maintaining our backend code, ensuring reliability and scalability to meet growing demand. The ideal candidate is a full stack engineer with a focus on simple and efficient solutions, and has experience with JavaScript/TypeScript, SQL, and AWS. We are looking for someone who is passionate about data analysis and has a strong commitment to user privacy and security.
Requirements
– Minimum of 10 years of experience in Software Engineering
– Proficiency in writing and deploying production JavaScript/TypeScript backends and tools
– Strong knowledge of full stack development from infrastructure to front-end administrative tooling
– Experience with SQL and data analysis
– Familiarity with AWS and an eye for monitoring and reliability
– Ability to deliver well-documented, maintainable, and tested code
– Comfortable working in an open source environment
– Dedication to protecting user privacy and security
– Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
– Proven track record of completing projects successfully
– Self-motivated and comfortable working in a fully remote team setting
Nice to Have
– Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
– Background in ad-tech or marketing tech
