Remote Growth Engineer Opportunity for Grafana Labs
Grafana Labs, a global leader in the observability space with over 700,000 active installations of Grafana worldwide, is seeking a talented and experienced Growth Engineer to join our remote team in the American timezones, preferably on the East Coast. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing team focused on self-service go-to-market strategies and work with top companies such as Bloomberg, JPMorgan Chase, and eBay.
In this role, you will collaborate with our Growth team to drive adoption of Grafana Cloud and contribute to the development and maintenance of our open-source projects, including Grafana Loki (for logs) and Grafana Tempo (for traces). As a key member of the Self-Serve Growth team, you will be responsible for ideating, designing, and developing A/B and multivariate tests to enhance our user journey and improve business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
– Develop, release, and maintain Grafana plugins using TypeScript and React.js
– Brainstorm, design, and implement A/B and multivariate tests to drive business outcomes
– Ensure accurate product data flows across the full stack
– Collaborate with design, analytics, and other product teams to optimize user outcomes
– Partner with upstream engineering teams to deliver value to our customers
– Contribute to shaping our roadmap and your own career objectives
Requirements:
– 3+ years of hands-on experience with on-platform growth and experimentation
– Proficiency with single-page apps and REST/APIs services
– Expertise in TypeScript, ES6+, and modern CSS
– Strong data-driven mindset with an openness to qualitative feedback
– Excellent writing and presentation skills
– Genuine interest in driving business outcomes through product development
– Familiarity with applying a growth mindset to various aspects of your career and work
– Strong product management skills, including spec writing, mockups, and data analysis
– Experience delivering projects from gathering requirements to shipping a product in a self-driven manner
Preferred qualifications:
– Experience with the LGTM stack
– Background in growth engineering/marketing
– Experience with Big Query/Rudderstack
– Familiarity with state management libraries connecting with React.js
– Prior SRE experience or market focus
Compensation:
In the United States, the base compensation range (OTE for commission positions) for this role is $123,933 – $154,915. Actual compensation may vary depending on level, experience, and skillset. Benefits include equity, bonuses (if applicable), and other perks listed on our careers page.
