Position: Software Engineer, AI / Full Stack
Salary Range: $125-$190k plus equity

Job Description:
We are currently seeking highly skilled and motivated Software Engineers to join our team at Squint. In this role, you will play a key role in building our platform and developing AI-powered full-stack projects. Our goal is to provide real value to our customers through advanced AI applications, and as a Software Engineer, you will have the opportunity to make critical decisions on the technology stack, influence our product roadmap, and contribute to the growth of a world-class engineering culture.
Key Responsibilities:
– Contribute to all technical aspects of development at Squint.
– Design scalable architectures, review code, and manage all phases of the development life cycle.
– Collaborate with product management, design, and customers to drive end-to-end product development.
– Utilize customer use cases to inform engineering projects and product decisions.
– Help cultivate a strong engineering culture and contribute to the entire product development process.
– Be adaptable and flexible, willing to take on various tasks as needed in a fast-paced startup environment.
Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
– 4+ years of experience as a Software Engineer.
– Experience with one or more of the following areas (or related technologies):
– Building and deploying AI applications in production
– AI techniques, tooling, and workflows: LLMs, RAG, Vector DBs, Langchain, HuggingFace, LlamaIndex, CoreML
– Modern web/backend technologies: React, Typescript, Node, Next, Python
– Mobile development: Flutter (Dart), iOS (Swift), Android (Kotlin)
– Cloud platforms/infrastructure: GCP, AWS, Azure, Docker
– Databases: Relational (PostgreSQL, MySQL) or Non-relational (MongoDB, Firestore)
– Proven track record of creating scalable, high-performing, and well-documented software.
– Strong communication skills, energy, curiosity, and empathy.
– Team-oriented, collaborative, and self-motivated mindset.
– Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
