Engineering Manager – Clinical Quality at Rula
Rula is a mental healthcare company committed to providing holistic care and reducing the stigma surrounding mental health. Our team is passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of those struggling with mental health issues and driving positive change in the field of mental healthcare. We are currently seeking a driven and experienced Engineering Manager to lead our Provider Clinical Quality team in delivering impactful projects that improve care quality.
Key Responsibilities:
– Lead a small team of passionate engineers in developing tools to support therapists and Rula’s Clinical Quality team
– Collaborate with other engineering teams to build technologies that drive better care outcomes
– Provide performance management, mentorship, and career growth for team members
– Manage projects across multiple teams and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams
– Contribute to hiring and onboarding new engineers
Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience
– 10+ years of professional engineering experience with at least 7 years of full-time individual contributor work and 3 years of people management experience
– Experience in performance management, mentorship, and career growth
– Demonstrable project management experience across multiple teams
– Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective cross-functional collaboration
Preferred Qualifications:
– Experience at early or growth-stage companies
– Experience in customer-focused engineering
– Experience with 3rd party integrations and generative AI
– Experience in hiring engineers
