Application Developer – Shopify
We are seeking a highly skilled Application Developer to join our team as a contractor (1099)!
This is a full-time position that requires availability during Eastern Standard Time (EST) working hours.
Key Responsibilities:
– Create and maintain applications using Node.js and TypeScript.
– Utilize advanced knowledge of Shopify to develop and manage functions and extensions.
– Implement solutions through GraphQL, AWS, and REST APIs.
– Manage data migrations and ensure seamless integration across platforms.
– Develop and execute strategies for optimizing application performance through job queuing.
Requirements:
– Minimum of 3 years experience as an application developer.
– Extensive expertise in Node.js and TypeScript.
– Mandatory experience working with Shopify.
– Hands-on experience with GraphQL, AWS, and REST APIs.
– Proven experience in data migrations and job queuing strategies.
– Familiarity with working within EST hours.
– Experience with Shopify functions, extensions, and app customization.
– Ability to collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams and adapt to dynamic environments.
