Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Analytics Engineer to join our newly formed Central Analytics team within the finance organization. Reporting to the Senior Director of Business Analytics, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining data models to support reporting and analysis. Your work will initially focus on the go-to-market function, driving performance management and key decisions for complex implementation processes. This role is crucial in establishing baselines for robust data models to drive growth at Olo.
Location:
This position is open to remote candidates within the United States or those who prefer to work at our headquarters in New York City.
Key Responsibilities:
– Design and implement scalable data models using DBT to support reporting and analytics needs
– Develop, maintain, and optimize data pipelines and ETL processes using SQL and DBT for the central analytics team
– Collaborate with the go-to-market team to understand data requirements and deliver actionable insights
– Create and maintain documentation for data processes, models, and workflows
– Support the development of dashboards and reports on Tableau Server
– Monitor and troubleshoot data quality issues to ensure accuracy and reliability
– Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies to continuously improve analytics capabilities
Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field
– 3-5+ years of experience in data engineering or analytics
– Strong proficiency in SQL for data extraction, manipulation, and transformation, experience with querying Salesforce data is a plus
– Experience with DBT for transforming data within data warehouses
– Familiarity with Python and Snowflake is a plus
– Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
– Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Compensation:
The estimated compensation range for this position is $91,684 – $124,874 annually, depending on experience and location. We will discuss salary expectations and our complete total rewards package during the interview process.
