Job Summary
As a Senior Frontend Software Engineer at Kaizen, you will lead the development and maintenance of user-facing features on our web applications, specifically the Hub. You will work closely with product owners, designers, and backend engineers to create features that meet client needs and industry standards. Your role will involve writing clean, well-documented code, optimizing application performance, and implementing and maintaining tests. You will also collaborate with UI/UX designers to ensure intuitive, accessible, and responsive user interfaces.
Key Responsibilities
• Thorough understanding of JS concepts, optimization techniques, and design patterns
• Collaboration with Product, Design, and Development teams
• Identification of refactoring needs and writing maintainable code
• Sharing knowledge with the Frontend dev chapter on new technologies
• Experience working in Scrum/Agile environments and managing multiple tasks
• Strong organizational skills
Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise
• In-depth knowledge of:
o HTML, CSS, JS with 5+ years of experience
o React, Redux, TypeScript, Cypress, Jest, Webpack
o Git and Git workflows
• Nice to have:
o DevOps, CI/CD experience with AWS CodeBuild and GitHub Actions
o Experience resolving security vulnerabilities, dependencies, and licensing issues
o Familiarity with industry standards for web accessibility (WCAG)
o Experience with AWS, Next.js, and backend development
