Position: Business Analyst at Nielsen

Role Summary:
As a Business Analyst, you will be part of the Specialized Services team within our US Media Field Operations organization. Your main responsibility will be to gather detailed business requirements for multiple projects and collaborate with technical teams to deliver integrated solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct in-depth analysis of in-home telecom services, rates, and usage for both telecom and mobile
• Manage AirWatch security administration for mobile devices used by field and audio users
• Ensure clear understanding of project’s business requirements by all stakeholders
• Work with program leads and leadership to identify process improvement opportunities
• Facilitate workshops for gathering and reviewing project requirements and finding business solutions
• Analyze requirements from various sources and perform reconciliation, decomposition, and gap analysis
• Create high-quality documentation and take ownership of it
• Collaborate with stakeholders and project team to prioritize requirements
• Provide expertise in process definition and improvement
• Oversee technical design and system development to ensure requirements are met
• Support Project Managers to ensure projects meet timelines and deliverables
• Work with key stakeholders and teams within and outside the company to align systems, practices, and processes
• Collaborate with Technology Business Analysts to ensure alignment on all requirements
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree or 3-5 years of equivalent work experience
• Excellent communication skills (both oral and written) with the ability to problem solve and build relationships at all levels within the organization
• Proven track record of delivering solutions that meet business needs
• Ability to multitask and adjust priorities based on company objectives
• Strong documentation and organizational skills
• Solid understanding of technology
• Ability to work independently and in cross-functional environments
• Proficient in using Microsoft Office and Google tools or equivalent
• Knowledgeable in all phases of project analysis
• Experience in full systems development life cycle on multiple concurrent projects
• Proficiency in Alteryx is required
• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
