Job Description:
We are looking for a Mobile Engineer to join our team at Consensys and support the growth of MetaMask on the mobile platform. As a Mobile Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work on web3 technologies, contribute to the safety and security of our users’ funds, and collaborate with design and QA teams to create the best product possible.
Key Responsibilities:
– Develop and maintain mobile features for the MetaMask platform
– Collaborate with design and QA teams to ensure high-quality product development
– Contribute to the safety and security of users’ funds
– Stay updated on new concepts, ideas, and frameworks within the web3 ecosystem
– Join a network of builders that reaches the edge of our ecosystem
– Work on tools, infrastructure, and apps that scale these platforms to onboard one billion participants and 5 million developers
Qualifications:
– Multiple years of experience shipping javascript code to production
– Demonstrable proficiency with React Native for 3+ years
– Strong communication and collaboration skills
– Experience in roles requiring collaboration with design, QA, and product teams
– Comfort and enthusiasm for building mobile products and working within a mobile development environment
– Interest in blockchain and a desire to learn
– Passion for our mission and values
– Proactive and self-driven in a remote work environment
– Enthusiasm and drive to ship high-quality code
– Kind, empathetic, and supportive towards the team
– Ideally located in EST/PST time zones, but if in EU/UK, able to have ~4 hours of overlap with American time zones
Bonus Points:
– Experience as a MetaMask user
– Experience with Android or iOS development
– Experience working on a blockchain or Fintech application
– Creative and willing to experiment with new technologies
Salary Range:
The salary range for US-based candidates will be determined during the interview process based on experience and skills. The range is $100,000 – $201,000 USD (not including bonuses, equity, or other benefits).
