Job Overview:

We are seeking a Senior Healthcare Analytics Analyst to play a crucial role in conducting data analyses that drive our strategy, inform product performance, and provide valuable insights for the development of new clinical intervention strategies and product enhancements. As a part of our Healthcare Analytics team, you will work on fast-paced, analytically-focused projects that improve our product performance with clients. Key Responsibilities:

– Research, develop, execute, and optimize auto-decisioning strategy for new client implementations
– Utilize various healthcare data sources to build and maintain analytical and reporting solutions that support strategy and program decision-making
– Identify opportunities for optimization based on data analyses to improve auto-decisioning performance and drive increased value for clients
– Perform quantitative analysis of healthcare cost, operational performance, and clinical outcomes using claims and authorization data
– Track cost, utilization, and industry trends to inform stakeholders of solution performance and provide insights for optimizing clinical value for patients, providers, and payers
– Prepare information for clients, build reports, and develop data visualizations and self-service solutions for internal and external stakeholders
– Collaborate with the Insights team on rule refinement and metric tracking
– Develop, review, and analyze detailed data sets for client reporting and analytics

Qualifications:

– 5+ years of experience working in an analyst role
– Bachelor’s degree in Health Informatics, Public Health, or related field preferred
– Proficiency in using statistical analysis tools (such as SQL, R, or SAS) to extract insights from complex healthcare data sets, interpret trends, and provide actionable recommendations (experience with Athena preferred)
– 1+ years of experience building and/or maintaining dashboards and self-service business intelligence tools, such as Tableau or PowerBI
– Understanding of healthcare systems, medical terminologies, clinical workflows, and regulations preferred
– Experience working with internal stakeholders and colleagues to develop and define client and program-specific KPIs
– Strong verbal and written communication skills for effectively conveying complex information to stakeholders and collaborating with internal teams and clients
– Proven ability to set goals and meet deadlines for multiple ongoing projects
– Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills for identifying issues within healthcare data and devising solutions
– Ethical decision-making skills for navigating ethical dilemmas in healthcare data management and analysis while upholding professional standards and integrity
– Passion for improving the U.S. healthcare system and ensuring every patient receives the best care possible
– Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment

Salary Range and Benefits:

The salary range for this position is $100,000 to $120,000 per year, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, 401k, and a bonus. In compliance with applicable state laws, Cohere is required to provide a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. Individual pay decisions will be based on qualifications, experience, skillset, and internal alignment.
