– Job Title: Staff Software Engineer at Lithic

We are currently seeking a skilled Staff Software Engineer to join our Treasury team and play a key role in driving Lithic’s continued growth.
– Job Responsibilities:
As a Staff Software Engineer on our Treasury team, you will be responsible for maintaining and developing the backend services that facilitate the flow of funds between Lithic and third parties. This includes our ledger, ACH and wire infrastructure, and associated reconciliation. Your focus will be on ensuring high standards of reliability and correctness, as well as driving technical leadership and writing code. You will also have the opportunity to become an expert in the card payments space.
Specific duties include:
– Ensuring high reliability and correctness of Lithic’s ledger and funds flows
– Developing new features to enhance Lithic’s services for customers
– Maintaining secure and scalable code with minimal technical debt
– Leading initiatives from planning to launch, keeping stakeholders informed and aligned
– Driving strategic planning in collaboration with engineering and product managers
– Mentoring and empowering team members to support their growth
– Participating in the team’s on-call rotation
– Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you should have:
– 8+ years of experience shipping code in fast-paced production environments
– Advanced skills in designing and implementing distributed systems
– Experience leading cross-functional projects across engineering, product, and operations teams
– A commitment to empathy and inclusion
– Excellent communication skills
– A growth mindset and a desire to continuously learn and improve
– An interest in fintech and the payments space (preferred)
– Salary Range: $200,000 – $220,000 (base salary for US candidates)
