Responsibilities:
As a Principal Consultant, you will help our clients gain tangible value from their data. Your responsibilities will include:
– Gathering client requirements through prototyping and refining them during the engagement
– Successfully executing consulting engagements and delivering high-quality project outcomes
– Managing client expectations through weekly status updates and proactive feedback sessions
– Collaborating with clients to develop scalable, durable analytics solutions using tools such as Alteryx, KNIME, and low-code/no-code platforms, as well as hands-on experience in SQL, Snowflake, Python, and other data sources
– Creating standard workflows, analytical apps, reusable macros, and automated reports
– Obtaining advanced certifications in Alteryx and KNIME
– Effectively managing team time and providing clear project timelines to the Analytics Project Manager, sales team, and leadership
– Identifying additional sales opportunities within client accounts and assisting in account growth and expansion with the sales team
– Leading capability stand-ups, team meetings, and workshops
– Collaborating with marketing to identify consultants for blog posts and webinars aligned with their expertise
– Mentoring and managing consultants and senior consultants, ensuring alignment with job descriptions and fostering professional growth
– Driving organic growth of accounts and relationships, fostering extensions and new business opportunities with existing clients
Required Experience:
– 6+ years of relevant experience and expertise in data analytics and data visualization platforms
– Expertise in data preparation using Alteryx, KNIME, or other tools like Matillion, Dataiku, or Coalesce
– Proven experience in creating scalable, durable analytics solutions
– Eagerness to learn and integrate with new data visualization tools
– Demonstrated expertise in data fluency and communicating with business users
– Knowledge of SQL and experience leveraging data warehouses, data marts, and data models
– Exceptional customer-facing skills, including communication and project management
– Strong problem-solving skills with a passion for learning and mastering new technologies, techniques, and procedures
Preferred Experience:
– 6+ years of consulting experience in delivering solutions using Alteryx or Knime
– Experience working with data sources like SAP, Snowflake, AWS, Azure, Databricks, and SharePoint
– Experience with Python and/or R scripting
