Job Description:
As a Business Analyst at Hike, you will be responsible for turning business questions into data analysis and providing crucial recommendations. You will plan and execute A/B tests to optimize our digital marketing channels, conduct competitive analysis, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their business needs.
Requirements:
– Bachelor’s degree in Math, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or other technical field (advanced degrees preferred)
– 1-2 years of experience performing quantitative analysis for an Internet or technology company
– Strong hands-on experience with SQL and Python
– Knowledge of A/B testing and experimentation methodologies
– Experience with data warehousing, data modeling, and querying massive scale data
– Familiarity with reporting and dashboarding tools such as Tableau and Google Analytics
– Excellent organizational, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
– Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
– Passion for both individual and team work
– Proven ability to think deeply, exercise good judgement, and continuously improve
– Customer obsession and a desire to deliver exceptional results
Responsibilities:
– Conduct data analysis to inform business decisions and recommendations
– Plan and execute A/B tests to optimize digital marketing channels
– Conduct competitive analysis to identify strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities in the market
– Create visual displays of quantitative information to deliver effective presentations
– Automate reports and build dashboards to provide insights at scale
– Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their business needs and provide data-driven solutions
– Evangelize data-driven experimentation within the team to improve product offerings
– Continuously improve the product through data analysis and documentation
– Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments to inform strategy and decision-making
