Job Description:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Business Intelligence Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for gathering and analyzing data, providing insights, and collaborating with various departments to enhance our brand and ensure the satisfaction of our clients. We are looking for a flexible and skilled Analyst who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
– Work with cross-functional teams to meet project deadlines
– Take ownership of projects within the Business Intelligence Development Lifecycle
– Gather requirements from internal stakeholders through consultative discussions
– Create, schedule, and maintain ETL/ELT processes, including data cleansing and analytics
– Utilize SQL to develop or modify data sets for accurate and efficient analysis
– Design and implement BI dashboards to visualize data insights
– Communicate data insights to internal stakeholders through storytelling
– Create necessary documentation for business users
– Assist with BI software administration and end-user support
– Conduct data mining and analysis to answer business questions and identify actionable insights
– Empower business units to self-service using available BI tools
Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Business, Statistics, Business or Data Analytics, Computer Science, Engineering, MIS, or a related field
– Minimum of 3 years of experience in analytics, business analysis, or a similar consumer analytics role
– Advanced knowledge of data mining, ETL, data warehousing, data visualization, and Excel
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical teams
– Excellent understanding of business operations and the potential impact of decisions
– Proficiency in writing efficient and high-quality SQL code, following team best practices and conducting rigorous testing/validation
– Commitment to providing excellent customer service, exhibiting core BSC values in all interactions and meetings
– Ability to conduct effective data analysis and visualization through collaboration with stakeholders and leveraging domain and analytical expertise
– Willingness to continuously learn and expand domain knowledge through data exploration
Compensation:
The salary range for this position is $57,000 to $89,000 per year, depending on the applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and internal equity.
