Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated backend engineer to join our Searchandizing team. In this role, you will be responsible for building and maintaining the tools used by merchandisers of global e-commerce brands to manage their product discovery experience. You will focus on developing new features for our Searchandizing dashboard, improving its usability, and enhancing the overall product discovery experience for shoppers worldwide. Additionally, you will play a key role in streamlining the onboarding process for new merchandisers, making it more efficient and user-friendly on the Constructor platform.
Requirements:
– Strong proficiency in Python
– Hands-on experience with backend development
– Familiarity with devops tools such as AWS-ECS and Cloud Watch
– Experience launching and maintaining backend systems
– Knowledge of Flask or other web frameworks for building APIs is a plus
– Experience with automated testing practices
– Willingness to work with frontend codebase in React and Typescript
– Ability to produce high-quality code and test changes
– Excellent communication and collaboration skills
– Proactive and results-oriented mindset
– Experience working in remote environments is a plus
