Position Overview
As Senior Manager at Blend, you will lead project development from conception to delivery, ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic vision. Working with a diverse and talented team of Engineers, you will utilize your expertise in C# and cloud technologies to deliver cutting-edge solutions. As a hands-on leader, you will also mentor and guide junior developers, foster a culture of continuous learning, and maintain high coding standards. This position offers the flexibility to work remotely from anywhere in LATAM or from our office.
Key Responsibilities
– Lead project development from concept to delivery, in alignment with the company’s strategic direction
– Actively engage in hands-on coding, problem-solving, and technical decision-making
– Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution and outcomes
– Mentor and guide junior developers, promoting continuous learning and improvement
– Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to maintain high coding standards
– Contribute to system design and architecture, with a focus on scalability, performance, and security
– Stay updated on industry trends and technologies to drive innovation within the team
Qualifications
– Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
– Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Senior Manager or similar role with hands-on development responsibilities
– Expertise in C# and modern programming languages
– Experience with cloud platforms (e.g. AWS) and DevOps practices (Infrastructure as Code)
– Strong understanding of database technologies (SQL, NoSQL)
– Excellent leadership and time management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members
– Experience in system design, architecture, and conceptual use cases
– Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Language Requirements
– Excellent written and verbal English skills for effective communication with the team
